  1. What does NGALA mean? - The “Place of the Lion” in Swahili.
  2. What is NGALA? - An off-site venue located on 42 acres of private property, utilized by corporations for exclusive special events.
  3. What does NGALA offer? - NGALA offers a various themed events including a comprehensive, authentic Old- World safari theme as well as an open lawn for unlimited creative concepts which can be utilized in a variety of options such as award ceremonies and unveilings, etc...
  4. How many people can you handle? - NGALA can accommodate intimate groups from 20 guests to elaborate special events for up to 1000 guests.
  5. Where are you located? – NGALA is conveniently located just 11 miles east of the beach, The Naples Grande Beach Resort and The Ritz-Carlton. And only 7 miles from the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort. We are also only 22 miles from the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa and 35 minutes from Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort located on Macro Island.
  6. Can I have directions? - NGALA is located on a private estate in Naples, FL. We would be happy to provide directions; however, we are a private facility and are not open to the general public. Please schedule an appointment with our Director of Sales if you’d like to conduct a site inspection.
  7. Can I bring in my caterer/food? - NGALA has its’ own in-house, Executive Chef and Culinary Team. Off- site food and beverage are not permitted on the premises.
  8. Are you a Zoo? - NGALA is not a zoo. We are primarily a year-round private sanctuary for approximately 45 wild and endangered animals. These range from several big cats such as leopards, panthers, cougars, to lesser Apes, such as lemurs and chimpanzee. We also house a zebra, giraffe, parrots, reptiles, and many other exotics. These animals were either born in captivity or for various other reasons cannot be returned to the wild.
  9. Are you a charity or non-profit organization? - No NGALA is a private facility and is funded by the events we host. Proceeds from events support the animals here at the sanctuary.
  10. What are Living Art Displays? - NGALA is known for its trademarked “living arts” displays. This is where animals are placed strategically throughout the grounds in secure, barrier-free environments surrounding by lush foliage and thematic lighting. This offers guests an educational and intimate opportunity for a “Close-Up Creature Encounter” as well as wonderful photo opportunities!
  11. Is my preferred date available? - Unless there is a signed contract and deposit on file, all dates are available. If you interested in having your group visit NGALA, please call (239)353-3572 and kindly provide the group’s size and name of the end client, our director of sales will be happy to respond to you as quickly as possible to discuss your needs and confirm availability. We will respond to your request via e-mail with additional information regarding how you go about securing date and needs for your event.
  12. How much does it cost to have an event at NGALA? - Event fees depend on the size of the group and the different components for your event that are contracted and required. Our director of sales will be happy to walk you through the various options available.
